This service takes place at 6pm and meets in the main church building.
The format of the service is as follows.
We start with a time of worship, this normally in a contemporary style.
This is followed by a talk on biblical subject or passage. This is always aimed at bringing people closer to Jesus in a way that can be applied to life.
To close the service there is a time of prayer or reflection on what has been said.
(There will be occasions when the service is given over to other things such as a prayer meeting or worship night.)
Youth & Students
Following the evening service there is a group for young people studying for their GCSEs, (Year 10 & 11) A-Levels and at University.
There are two main focus to this time. Firstly it is for the group to spend some time together. Sharing experiences and knowledge and offer each other support. Some time is given to discuss and further understand the talk from the main meeting. The second is to have a time of teaching that is age specific to the group. This either lead by a youth worker or a member of the group.  This can be either a testimony (where somebody tells their story about how they met or grow with God) a more traditional Bible study.
There is always food, (a little dinner or an large snack) we have had pizza and hot dogs the past two weeks. Also Hot and Cold drinks are available.
Helpful Bible Passages

Acts 2.42-47

They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. Everyone around was in awe—all those wonders and signs done through the apostles! And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met. They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.
Romans 8-28
Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
